PostSubject: The Time line   Sat Aug 23, 2008 4:34 am

Ok guys heres what I have so far on the time (pay no attention to the dates I'm still adjusting them to the way I want them.)

A Brief History of Kheldor
Time of the Settling
PCD = Pre Common Dating

-2090 PCD
Several thousand Kheldorian’s crossed the desert of madness, and dared the Mountains of Hellfire. Ancient Scrolls and writings tell wild tales that these refugees were attempting to escape something horrible. The source of the fear is never named directly, but several accounts point to a “cataclysmic event spawned by a Mad Demoness” this becomes the beginning of recorded History.
-2075 PCD
Kheldorian’s split into several groups all going different directions. The most prominent of these groups are the Ioans and Gharsden (following the noble families that led each faction) each family claiming rightful ruler ship over the rest. Not wanting to cause further death to more Kheldorian’s the two families agreed on an uneasy truce and went their separate ways. With the Ioans settling on the Finlad Penisula, and the Gharsden people settling on the opposite side of the bay on the Kirad penisula. This peace would last for almost 500 years, as neither group ever contacted the other in that time ever again.

-1575 PCD
Prince Julian Ioan, the last Ioan in the royal bloodline and future heir to the throne dies of mysterious circumstances. His aging father Jason Ioan I, (afflicted with some form of dementia) and current ruler declares war on Gharsden claiming treachery and revenge for his sons death. (Although Gharsden was truly innocent in the whole affair.) Gharsden retaliates and following a very bloody battle and siege that last a very short 78 days, successfully over throws the Ioan Empire. All remaining Ioan’s are enslaved by the Gharsden people. Kirana Ioan IV Queen of the Ioan Empire, and young bride to Jason the I disappears and is presumed dead.
